aplysina pendant on long chain
carved in wax celebrating the shape of Aplysina spongues growing proud on rocks in the reefs, the pendant is cast in sterling silver 925 and hand finished to create a delicate textured surface.
 
the pendant is set with an oval faceted blue sapphire and six round brilliant faceted aquamarines, three in the front and three in the back, on 32 inch chain.
 
both the pendant and chain have been oxidised and rubbed back a little to create a contrast on the peaks and troughs of the texture.
